PCB testing is the testing of pressure, IC burn, voltage, current and line disconnection on the PCB board. There are many uncontrollable factors in the production process of PCB. It is difficult to ensure that the production of PCBS is perfect. PCB testing is an integral part of strictly controlling the quality of delivery.

1. What are the main tests of PCB testing

PCB testing varies from product to product and customer requirements. In general, PCB testing mainly includes ICT online testing, FCT functional testing and aging testing.

2. PCB testing process

PCB testing usually follows a specific test process based on the customer's test plan. The basic testing process of PCB is as follows:

Program burning → ICT test → FCT test → aging test

1. Program burning

After completing the welding process at the front end of the PCB board, the engineer began to program and record the microcontroller in the PCB board to enable the microcontroller to achieve a specific function.

2. Ict testing

ICT testing mainly tests the open circuit, short circuit and brazing of the electronic components of the PCB by contacting the test point of the PCB with the test probe. ICT testing has high precision, clear instructions and a wide range of applications.

3.FCT test

FCT tests can test the PCB's environment, current, voltage, pressure, and other parameters. The test content is more comprehensive, to ensure that the PCB board parameters meet the designer's design requirements.

4. Aging test

Burn-in testing ensures product stability by continuously energizing PCB boards, simulating user scenarios, detecting difficult-to-detect defects, and verifying product life.
